On Friday 3 October 2003, Kooyman Gifts & Garden opened their doors to the public. This 2500 square meter one-stop shop offers just about anything within the area of gardening and atmosphere, such as pots and plants, gardening tools, gift items and furniture for in- and outside the house.
Kooyman Gifts & Garden has a partnership with “Staelduinsebos Groenspecialisten”. This company has several gardening centers in The Netherlands as well as an office that does design for gardens.

The shop is divided in three categories. You first enter the “jungle garden” which has a wide variety of plants for outside. Besides the typical tropical assortment, such as palms and Bougainvillea, they thrive to gather plants that are a bit rare. You can also request a quatation for the complete architecture of your garden.

The next part is the garden shop. Here you can get any kind of garden tool of top brands e.g. Gardena, Wolf Garten and Hozelock. Furthermore they offer pots, a wide variety of garden and porch furniture, ponds and drip irrigation systems (Aqua Air). With this assortment they cater both the consumer and professional.

The third part offers atmospheric articles for in and outside the home varying from basics to more refined, such as chandeliers, statues and gift items. All articles are grouped and placed in 8 rooms with each its own color and atmosphere.

Not only is Gifts & Garden unique because of their extensive variety of gift and gardening items, which is the biggest on Curaçao, they also distinguish themselves by their decoration and atmosphere. Their assortment comes from all over the globe. All cultures melt together in order for everyone to feel welcome.
