Kooyman, your Caribbean hardware-, building materials- and home improvement store!

The shelves in the supermarkets are full off every possible cleaning product. A lot of these miracle products contain chemicals that are not only harmful to the health, but also damaging to many materials.
Some tips
Be careful when buying new cleaning products.
Buy products that have proved their worth in bulk and pour them over into empty spray bottles.
Use liquids in different colours so that you’ll be able to distinguish products for windows, floors and other surfaces easily.
Self-made labels can also be handy for this purpose. This way, you’ll save money and time and you’ll work more efficiently.

What will you need?
Disinfectant cleaning products
Dilute with water for cleaning the bathroom and mopping floors.
Cleansing agents

What should you pay attention to?
  • Store cleaning products in a closed cupboard
  • Never leave children alone with cleaning products. Not even to answer the door or the phone.
  • If the label is unclear, replace it. Prevent confusion by labeling all bottles.
  • Wear rubber gloves.
  • Avoid contact with skin, eyes and clothing.  Be especially careful with ammonia and bleach.
  • Open a window to dispel noxious fumes
  • Avoid open flames.
  • Never mix cleaning agents.
  • Use a step-stool or a ladder instead of a chair to prevent falling.
