In September 2001 Kooyman introduced net pricing on Curaçao
and Bonaire. In February 2004 Kooyman also introduced net pricing
on Aruba. Net pricing basically means that all possible discounts
are included in the price, in other words the prices are lowered
to the lowest possible level. Everybody receives the maximum discount
benefit at Kooyman. In addition to receiving net prices you also
save Fun Miles at Kooyman. Depending on the total amount in guilders
you spend at Kooyman in a quarter (three months), you can receive
at least 2 and up to 5 times the amount of Fun Miles. Net prices,
all possible discount included in the price and at least twice the
Fun Miles at Kooyman!
In 2005 NETTO PLUS was reintroduced as Mega Miles!

As you may know the NettoPlus quarter (3 month period) was not calculated according to the regular calendar quarters of the year, in other words the quarters were calculated from December to February, from March to May and so on. With the introduction of Mega Miles this situation is rectified and the Mega Miles quarters will be according to the regular calendar quarters starting July 2005, when the new above mentioned multiplier table went into effect. But that left June and for June the following calculation was implemented.
At the end of June 2005 Kooyman checked your purchases in June. The total of purchases in the quarter April, May and June (3 months) was checked to establish the multiplying factor. The factor, using the old NettoPlus table (and not the one mentioned above), was used to multiply the Fun Miles earned in only June of 2005. As per July 1st 2005 the above-mentioned table took effect and the quarter of the year was rectified according to the regular calendar quarters.
On purchases at Kooyman Techniek Aruba, Kooyman Techniek Curaçao & K'nuku Restaurant the Mega Miles system does NOT apply.
