Hummingbirds are wonderful creatures, the smallest bird in the world and real acrobats. They are the only bird that can fly forwards as well as backwards. With some simple tricks, you can attract them to your garden, so you can watch them play, fly and feed themselves.

Step 1: Make sure you have some colorful flowering plants in your garden. Hummingbirds are attracted to red, orange, and yellow flowers.

Step 2: After that, you will need a hummingbird feeder. You can buy one, or make one yourself. If the feeder doesn't have red on it, tie a red ribbon around the top or paint it.

Step 3: Make nectar by boiling 4 parts of water and dissolving one part of granulated sugar in it. Let the mixture cool and fill the feeder with it.

Step 4: Hang the feeder in your garden, preferrably in a place where you can easily watch the birds feed themselves, but not too close to your home.

Step 5: Replace the sugar water regularly and clean the feeder if you do so. Make sure the sugar water doesn't become 'cloudy'

Step 6: Sit, watch and enjoy these little miracles!
