'Do it Yourselvers' know that sometimes when you fix one thing, you break another. If you accidentally bumped into a drywall and made a hole in it, don't stress, it's quite easy to fix it.

If the hole is small, you can use fiberglass screen to cover the hole and further repair it with the help of a drywall repair kit.

Step 2: If it is big, the first thing is to remove the parts of drywall that are still hanging on. Cut at the edges to make the hole into a square to make it easier to work with.

Step 3: Place some drywall tape on the inside of the whole, with the sticky side towards you. Now cut out a piece of drywall exactly the same size as your hole in the wall. place it into the wall and be careful not to let it fall in. Use also some drywall tape on the outside to hold it.

Step 4: Cover the entire area with drywall mud or plaster. Once its dry you can sand it down and paint it. It might be the perfect time to re-do the whole wall with a new color!
