An electrical conduit is a tube used to protect and route electrical wiring in a building or structure. These can be buried in concrete or plaster at the construction stage or externally mounted for easy access. Because the PVC conduit tubing and fittings are glued together, the conduit assemblies can be watertight, making PVC suitable for direct burial in the ground for many applications.
