Bought this to replace my shopvac. Really sucks deeper and harder. Actually I had two shopvacs, one large and one very large. The very large one (of the size of the item I'm reviewing) was director dang the smaller one because the wider hose was too wide for the motor. With the reviewed seal, which I use with a very thick hose, the suction power was much better.
I also used it to suck sand out of a hole that would later be filled with palapa posts.
