Work in progress: roof renovation 

As of July 7, 2025, Kooyman is renovating the roof of the Drive-Thru at our Zeelandia megastore. 

1. Is the Zeelandia Drive-Thru still open during the renovation? 
Yes, the Drive-Thru at our Zeelandia megastore remains open throughout the renovation. You will notice some construction activities, but you can still shop as usual. 
 
2. When is the renovation taking place? 
The roof renovation will take place during the school vacation period and will be carried out in phases. We will update customers on our website and social media if there are changes to the timeline. 
 
3. Will the renovation affect my shopping experience? 
There may be some minor changes to the usual flow. There will be a temporary structure in place to help workers safely reach the roof. We kindly ask all customers to follow the instructions of on-site personnel so everything runs safely and orderly. 
 
4. Is it safe to make use of the drive thru during the renovation? 
Yes, it is safe. All necessary precautions have been taken to ensure a safe experience for our employees and customers. The construction area is clearly marked, and a temporary structure allows workers to carry out the roof renovation safely above the drive thru.  
 
5. Is there access for larger vehicles? 
Yes, access remains possible via the Drive-Thru, even with construction in progress. Please drive carefully and follow all posted signs and staff directions. 
 
6. Are there any planned renovations at the other Kooyman stores? 
There are no construction activities at our Jan Noorduynweg and Sta. Rosa locations. These stores are open as usual, and you can also shop anytime online.
