How to paint your window frames

Preparation:

Remove old paint
Usa a paint scraper to remove any loose or flaking paint. Be careful not to damage the wood.

Sand the surface

Clean the frame

Sand again

Prime the frame:

Dry time

Stir the paint

Stir the paint thoroughly to ensure even color and consistency.

Apply paint

Use a brush to apply the paint, starting with the edges and corners, and then moving to the larger surfaces. Apply the paint in long, smooth strokes, following the direction of the wood grain.

Allow the paint to dry and apply at least two coats of paint for a durable finish.
