The quality of this product is not very good. It started to fall apart within days of purchasing, leaving pieces - big chunks as well as very small bits - of the sponge all over the kitchen sink. While I was able to fish the larger pieces out of the sink, the smaller pieces were harder to extricate, which would leave them to flow to the well and then the soil as microplastics, given that the sponge is made of recycled plastics as opposed to plant fibre.
