At first I was disappointed, I wanted to cut weed barrier fabric with it but the wire stripper, which I hadn't noticed is there when buying the scissors, prevented a nice clean cut. So you have big scissors but can't even use the full length of the blade properly. When making tougher cuts you also want the item as deep in the blade opening as possible so in my opinion this wire stripper which you probably will never use had better been omitted. The scissors are easy to hold thanks to the big handles. I easily cut a Gardena garden hose which needed fixing and also cut open those tough clear plastic cases some products get sold in. Overall the scissors are okay for the price.
